dc.description.abstractChild malnutrition and food insecurity are widespread in developing countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. In addition, students in developing countries tend to have low academic performance. To address this problem, MDG 2 calls for "eradicating hunger, ensuring food security, improving nutrition, ..." and MDG 4 "ensuring equal access to quality education for all, ...".
