This recognition explains the interest given by governments and international institutions to the issue of financial inclusion as the cornerstone of economic and social development and well-being. The goal of financial inclusion is to expand access to affordable banking and financial products and services for populations excluded from the traditional banking circuit (Osei-Assibey, 2009, Kabakova and Plaksenkov 2018 and Demircguc-Kunt et al. 2018)
